The Peterborough Historical Society has launched a membership drive with the goal of winning the Finlay Foundation's $25,000 challenge New Hampshire historical societies. The historical society that has the greatest increase in memberships between November 1, 2007 and October 31, 2008 will win a $25,000 incentive grant.

Membership dues and gifts to the Annual Fund support the day-to-day operations of the Historical Society.
