Discover History Packs

for kids and families

This summer vacation discover downtown Peterborough’s history with one of the Historical Society’s Discover History Packs. Available at the Historical Society and the Peterborough Town Library, the Discover History Packs can be checked out for a day’s tour of downtown’s fascinating past.

The Discover History Packs include a walking tour geared to elementary school age children, games, puzzles, activities, and books. The packs are designed for parents to use with their children.

An afternoon spent exploring with the packs will open up the history of Peterborough for kids, their parents, and their grandparents.

The packs were made possible by a generous grant from the Monadnock Community Foundation. The Historical Society is grateful to Eastern Mountain Sports for donating four Boulderado backpacks for the project.

Use of the packs is free and open to everyone in the community. The packs will be available the week of June 23.
